Jan Knippenberg Memorial

 

In 2016 volgde ik Irene Kinnegim tijdens de laatste Jan Knippenberg Memorial. 125 kilometer over het strand van Hoek van Holland naar Den Helder. Irene liep 86 kilometer in haar eentje op kop. Daarna werd ze ingehaald door Jan Muller die uiteindelijk als eerste finishte in 11 uur 9 minuten en 58 seconden. Irene volgde na 5:32 als tweede overall en eerste vrouw. Deze korte impressie is onderdeel van het documentaire project Langlopers.
